The NotedBuzz Story
NotedBuzz started with three friends sitting together and talking about what we could build.
There wasn’t a huge business plan behind the first conversation. There was simply an idea: what if we created an entertainment platform where interesting celebrity stories could become more than just another article or headline?
Each of us came from a different creative background. One understood how to build and manage the business side. One had years of experience in digital content, native advertising, and entertainment research. And one had the creative eye and technical ability to turn ideas into videos, graphics, and stories.
That combination became the foundation of NotedBuzz.
Three People. Three Strengths. One Idea.
Nasir Ali — The Builder & Execution Lead
Nasir keeps the practical side of NotedBuzz moving. He works across operations, organization, accounts, management, and day-to-day execution. At the same time, he brings an artistic side to the team, giving him a different perspective when we’re deciding how an idea should come together.
Kiran Shafiq — Content Strategy & Research Lead
Kiran brings 7–8 years of experience in native advertising and digital content, with a particular interest in pop culture and entertainment. She helps shape what we cover, researches the people and stories behind each subject, and looks for the details that make a familiar name worth exploring again.
Her experience with entertainment content helped turn the original idea for NotedBuzz into a clear direction: research the story, find the details people may have missed, and tell it properly.
Subveins — The Creative Director
Subveins leads the visual side of NotedBuzz. Video editing, graphics, pacing, storytelling, and creative direction are where he brings his experience to the team.
Working extensively with DaVinci Resolve, he takes the research and turns it into something visual — from the way a story is structured to the way it feels when it reaches the screen.
More Than Headlines
Entertainment is full of familiar names.
Actors we’ve watched for years. Musicians whose songs we grew up with. Television stars we remember from a particular show. Athletes, filmmakers, and other people whose careers have become part of popular culture.
But knowing someone’s name doesn’t mean knowing their story.
Behind a successful career there can be years of rejection, unexpected opportunities, career changes, personal struggles, major decisions, comebacks, and moments that never became part of the headline.
That’s where NotedBuzz begins.
We research the stories we cover and use publicly available information to build articles and documentary-style videos that give audiences more context around the people they already know.
Sometimes the story is about how someone became famous.
Sometimes it’s about what happened before the fame.
Sometimes it’s about a career turning point, a role that changed everything, or a chapter of someone’s life that most people never heard about.
And sometimes, it’s simply a story worth remembering.
From Research to Video
NotedBuzz isn’t built around one format.
Our website is where we publish our stories, while our YouTube channel gives us a different way to bring those stories to life.
We take the research behind a story and develop it into documentary-style videos using narration, editing, graphics, archival material, and visual storytelling.
The goal is simple: make people curious enough to click, interested enough to stay, and satisfied that they learned something they didn’t know before.
Building Something of Our Own
We’re still at the beginning.
NotedBuzz isn’t a massive media company with hundreds of writers or dozens of publications. It’s three people building something from an idea we had together.
That means we’re involved in everything — from researching a story and writing an article to editing a video, designing visuals, managing the platform, and figuring out what we can do better next.
We’re learning as we build.
We’re experimenting with formats.
We’re improving the way we research and tell stories.
And we’re creating a platform that we hope can grow into something much bigger over time.
Where We’re Going
Our ambition is to build NotedBuzz into a recognizable entertainment storytelling brand — one that people come to when they want to discover the stories behind the names they already know.
As we grow, we want to expand our storytelling, improve our videos, cover more people and subjects, and continue finding new ways to connect stories across our website and YouTube channel.
We don’t know exactly how big NotedBuzz will become.
But we know why we started it.
Three friends. Different skills. One shared idea.
Research better. Tell better stories. Keep building.
That’s NotedBuzz.
